Here Comes Everybody- Clay Shirky on the Internet and Collective Action
Written by Trevor Malkinson
Clay Shirky, author of the book Here Comes Everybody, is a writer, professor and specialist in the area of Internet technologies and their social implications. Scott's latest Beams article is called The Evolution of Online Communities, and I thought this TED talk by Clay Shirky- entitled How Cellphones, Twitter and Facebook Can Make History- would complement his piece well. I found it quite inspiring, thought provoking and well worth the time. Enjoy.
