John Showman is Toronto based fiddler/violinist, playing all styles. In his interview he talks about his musical education and history with various bands, as well as other prominent fiddlers: Jesse Zubot, Kevin Burke, Vassar Clements and others. And we hear some of the divergent styles the instrument is used for: bluegrass, folk, country, classical, experimental instrumental rock, and indie rock.
